Hello. Just a wee disclaimer. I thought i'd be clever before and adjust my blog settings so that the time was set to GMT rather than LA time (which is the default I think), not realising that it would completley mess up the posting dates. Sooo... Rather than have people think that i've been posting at 3 am etc and to align posting with the correct dates etc, please ignore the time and move the day of posting back a day.
Anyway I hope you all are well and life is treating you well. Today I've tried to be a bit more disciplined and its been great because of that. And also some great friends who have been a tremendous support to me. Thankyou.

what is the picture of?
The picture is of people realising hellium filled ballons outside the Palm House in Sefton Park after Christoff Power's wedding.
Oh i forgot the best bit. Hellium filled ballons with lit sparklers attached to them. Hmm... Interesting.
being the scientific genius that i am...doesen't it seem like when you mix something like hellium with something like a sparkler some kind of fire explosion should ensue...but apparenly not, huh?
Well... The major concern was the fact that we where releasing lit sparklers into the air in a park filled with trees. It was a windy day and inevitably many of them ended up in the trees and indeed set them on fire. Fortunately it had just started to rain at the time so the fires went out.
Oh and when we released the things it was in a densely packed crowd. Hence sparklers where flying through the air at head height.
